Professor Schober’s note:

The Collection was donated by Mr. Palgen to ASU about ten years ago. It depicts life in Cambodia in the 1950s and 60s and includes many images of Angkor Wat, among locations. Researchers from NIU and other universities have obtained federal funds to retrace the Palgens’ steps in Cambodia and recapture many of the locations as they are today.  (That part, however, is not online through the ASU library).

It’s great that the Collections is now available online for use by students and faculty in Asian studies.
